Vote for your favorite act of kindness at 12Days.ChapelHillTire.com, win up to $3,000 for a local charity
Chapel Hill, NC (Sunday, December 13, 2020) – Marc Pons, president and co-owner of Chapel Hill Tire, decided this holiday season would be a great time for all of us to get together and send 2020 out on a wave of kindness. So, he challenged all of us the Triangle community to perform an act of kindness – big or small – capture it with photos or video, and post it to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #cht12days.
“We got started with the acts of kindness back on November 16th,” said Pons. “We’ve had a great response, and there’s still time to get in on the fun. We will monitor Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the #cht12days hashtag until December 24, and present every post we approve on the 12days.chapelhilltire.com website.”
Now the fun really begins. “Go to 12days.chapelhilltire.com to see what your neighbors have been doing,” said Pons. “It’s really heartwarming. Find your favorites, and vote for them. You can vote for each one you like up to once per day, and track how they’re doing on our leaderboard. Voting ends on December 24, and if one of your favorites finishes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, we will make a donation to that poster’s favorite charity, $3,000 for the 1st place finisher, $2,000 for 2nd, and $1,000 for 3rd.”
In addition to the donations, everyone whose post is approved can receive $10 off on their next service at Chapel Hill Tire, simply by showing their post to the service advisor at checkout. Complete details, including terms and conditions, plus instructions on how to shoot a good video with your smartphone, are available at 12days.chapelhilltire.com.
“We really appreciate everyone who has joined in on the kindness,” said Pons, “you’re all winners, and you’ve shown everyone what a wonderful place this part of North Carolina is to live. Thank you for helping us put a cap of kindness and good cheer on 2020!”
